Why a combined assessment matters

Research shows that approximately 50–70% of autistic people also have ADHD, and a similar proportion of those with ADHD have autistic traits. Yet the two are often assessed and reported in isolation — leading to incomplete pictures, missed diagnoses, and recommendations that don't account for how the two interact.

Our AuDHD assessment uses the full battery — DIVA-5, ADOS-2, and ADI-R — delivered by the same assessor in a cohesive process. You receive one integrated report explaining both conditions and how they interact in your specific profile.

This is our most comprehensive service, and for many people it provides clarity they have been seeking for their entire lives.

AuDHD FAQs

AuDHD is a term used by the neurodiversity community to describe people who are both autistic and have ADHD. Research confirms the two conditions frequently co-occur and interact in specific ways.
Yes. Since the DSM-5 (2013), dual diagnosis of ADHD and ASD has been officially recognised. Prior to that, clinicians were not supposed to give both diagnoses simultaneously, which led to many missed or delayed diagnoses.
It involves more assessment tools, more assessor time, and a more complex integrated report. However, it is significantly cheaper than booking two separate assessments — and produces a better clinical picture.
You will receive clear findings for both conditions. If only ADHD or only autism is confirmed, your report will explain why and what the findings mean for you.
